Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 1 September 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
Medflow Learning ("Medflow Learning", "we", "us") is operated by Medflow Learning Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17512158), whose registered office is at 1 Ashley Drive, Brierley, Barnsley, England, S72 9FJ. When you create an account or purchase a subscription, you are entering into an agreement with Medflow Learning Ltd. You can reach us at support@medflowlearning.com.
2. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise continuing to use Medflow Learning, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please stop using the service. You confirm that you are of legal age to enter into this agreement, and where you are using the service on behalf of an organisation, that you have authority to bind it.
3. What the service is
Medflow Learning is an online question bank and revision tool for medical students preparing for licensing examinations such as the UKMLA. It provides expert-written and expert-vetted questions, explanations, performance analytics, textbook notes, and AI-generated remediation questions that target concepts you have answered incorrectly.
Educational use only. All content is provided for exam preparation and study purposes. It is not medical advice and must never be relied upon for the diagnosis or treatment of any patient. Clinical guidance changes; always check current NICE guidance and local protocols in practice.
AI-generated content. Some questions and notes are generated with artificial intelligence. Such content is clearly labelled, may contain inaccuracies, and only enters the vetted bank after human expert review. You are responsible for verifying anything you rely on.
4. Your account
- Provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- Accounts are personal to you and may not be shared, sold, or transferred.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the service unlawfully, fraudulently, or for spam;
- copy, scrape, republish, resell, or redistribute questions, explanations or notes;
- infringe intellectual property or upload content you have no rights to;
- interfere with the security or integrity of the service — including malware, probing, penetration testing, automated scraping, or circumventing technical or plan limits;
- reverse engineer or attempt to derive the source code of the service.
6. Intellectual property and licence
All software, question content, explanations, textbook notes, branding and documentation remain the property of Medflow Learning Ltd or its licensors. Subject to these terms and your active plan, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your own personal study. You retain ownership of content you submit, and grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to operate the service.
7. Service availability
We work to keep Medflow Learning available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Features may change, and maintenance or third-party outages may cause downtime. To the fullest extent permitted by law, all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are excluded.
8. Payment, subscriptions and cancellation
Subscriptions are sold on a recurring basis (monthly, 6-monthly, or annual as shown at checkout) and renew automatically at the then-current price until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account, and access continues until the end of the paid period.
Every new account starts with a 3-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel before then at no cost. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. Prices include VAT where applicable. See our Refund Policy.
9. Digital content and your right to cancel
Medflow is digital content supplied immediately. By starting a paid subscription you ask us to begin supplying it straight away and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right to cancel once access begins, as permitted by the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. This does not affect your rights if the service is faulty.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may close your account at any time. On termination your licence ends; we will delete or anonymise your data in line with our Privacy Notice, and you may request an export of your data beforehand.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special losses, including loss of profits, data, study time, goodwill or examination outcomes. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your unlawful use of the service, content you submit, or your breach of these terms.
13. General
You may not assign your rights without our consent; we may assign ours as part of a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond their reasonable control. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in the app or by email.
